The program allows the City to utilize grant funds for capital improvement projects in the low-to-moderate income areas which otherwise would have to be paid through the City’s Capital Improvement Program and allows 15% of the funding for public services (senior and youth programs). The following projects are listed in the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 Action Plan:
Coral Hills Drive Roadway and Sidewalk Improvement Design: $250,000
Forest Hills Park Lighting Project: $150,000
HOME Repair: $104,241.00
Youth Scholarship Program: $50,000
Senior Recreation and Functional Training: $44,000
Senior Recreation and Therapeutic Program: $25,820.00
Neighborhood Partnership Program: $15,000
Planning and Administration: $159,760.00
The design for Coral Hills Drive roadway is in progress and partial funds have been expended. The Forest Hills Lighting project remains underway.
