Participation in the Communities of Excellence (COE) Performance Framework identifies the City of Coral Springs as a community that will address educational disparities, public health, and inequalities in economic opportunity. The application of the COE framework sets the course for the City of Coral Springs to be among communities in the United States to achieve and sustain improved health, better educational outcomes, and more robust economic conditions for the community.
Staff continues to participate in the Communities of Excellence Cohort. UM Game Changer bus provided free health screenings to the community at the Lyons Park toy drive in December. Staff will continue to partner and provide active, healthy resources to the community.
