The Part-Time Permit Service Representatives are existing and ensure that the Building Department maintains a high level of customer service. The positions support the Customer Care Call Center to reduce customer call wait times, help schedule inspections and answer any questions from the public. The positions also perform important time-sensitive record-keeping tasks as needed.
This initiative is part of an operational budget plan. The initiative was added to the budget and approved as part of the budget process.
