This is an initiative focused on providing additional educational opportunities and training to improve the skills of current employees and prospective job applicants in any industry. The workforce/vocational training would be an expansion of services provided through the Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety. This initiative assists to meet the need within the community for local work force opportunities.
Expansion of the program to be discussed as part of the FY27 budget. There is department interest to expand the apprentice opportunities.
