The city will partner with Simon Malls and the Coral Square Mall to create a strategy to improve and revitalize the mall.
Staff is working closely with the mall GM and Simon reps. We met with the VP of Development and new leasing manager on 8/14. The new retail consultant has aware of the challenges at the mall and it is a part of the larger retail recruitment strategy. The Retail Coach has met with Simon reps and set up monthly calls to check in. They are looking at recruiting a national brand restaurant.
