The city will partner with Simon Malls and the Coral Square Mall to create a strategy to improve and revitalize the mall.
Staff is working closely with the mall GM and Simon reps. The new retail consultant has aware of the challenges at the mall and it is a part of the larger retail recruitment strategy. The Retail Coach has met with Simon reps and set up monthly calls to check in. They are looking at recruiting a national brand restaurant. We had a meeting in April with their new leasing manager and let him know our expectations. The new VP will be coming on soon and we plan on meeting with them.
