This is an initiative focused on providing additional educational opportunities and training to improve the skills of current employees and prospective job applicants in any industry. The workforce/vocational training would be an expansion of services provided through the Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety. This initiative assists to meet the need within the community for local work force opportunities.
An internal job posting is being prepared to support the selection of a new (FT) electrician apprentice/trainee. Once the selection is complete, the employee will register for the fall session of the ABC Institute electrician program. An employer agreement with ABC Institute will also be reviewed/executed prior to the start of the fall session. Additionally, staff have rescheduled a site visit to ABC Institute, it will take place on 06-23-25.
