Staff will continue to build a connection between the schools, community, and our youth through programs and access to facilities. Staff will review contracts with Broward County Schools. Plans will be developed for enhancements of facilities at one middle school approximately per year.

Ramblewood Middle School is the neighbor of Kiwanis Park. With the enhancements to Kiwanis, Ramblewood Middle will have opportunities to invite their environmental club to the Park and enjoy the space. Communication is open with the Principal and as the plans develop, the Principal will be included and consulted on how the school may utilize the park for a partnership with clubs.
The City of Coral Springs has enhancements scheduled in the Forest Glen neighborhood this fiscal year. A conversation with the City, Principal of Forest Glen and Turtle Run leadership is ongoing to make improvements to Turtle Run Park and Forest Glen Middle for the FY24 fiscal year.
With the enhancements to the tennis and adding pickleball courts at Coral Springs Middle School, more traffic is being directed into the park side. City staff worked with BCPS on adding signage for right turn only and making the exiting of the school/park area more pronounced.
