The initiative focuses on the development of a multifamily affordable housing project on cityowned lots located along Riverside Drive north of Sample Road. The city will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity for development of the project while addressing a community request for affordable housing.

Habitat for Humanity received site plan approval on February 6, 2024, and has begun site work. Vertical construction is expected to begin in July/August 2024. Volunteering opportunities will be available once initial site work preparation is complete which is estimated to begin September 2024. Project is expected to be complete in April/May 2025.
