The addition of a special events sponsorship process will increase the partnership between the city and local businesses. Sponsorships provide visibility, advertisements, and viability to the local business community. The position will work to attract and retain sponsorships for city events.
The part-time sponsorship coordinator was hired and began work in October 2022, and has started implementing new sponsorship packages and working with departments on upcoming events and programs.
