The CSRIPS fleet is comprised of vehicles that spent 10 years in operations and an additional five years in reserves. As a training vehicle, the pumps and equipment receive thousands of repetitions annually, more than the normal wear and tear of an engine for operations. This project will allow for CSRIPS to have students train on engines with newer technology that they will utilize when hired into a department. It will also provide a reliable working engine and pump for our Driver Engineer courses and promotional exams.
Vehicle has been delivered and outfitted for service.
