The P/T Will Call Electrical Inspector is an existing position used to reduce the workload for the electrical division when needed. The position eliminates the need for overtime and ensures electrical permits are issued on time and inspection are conducted the next day. The position also provides interim Chief coverage and responds to after-hour emergencies.
This initiative is part of an operational budget plan. The initiative was added to the budget and approved as part of the budget process.
