In late 2018, Bloomberg Philanthropies selected the Cities of Parkland and Coral Springs, as a winner of its Public Art Challenge. Overall, Coral Springs will receive $1 million from the foundation. The project brought the community together in collective healing and reflection following the tragedy as MSD. The first of five public art pieces included the Temple of Time, by artist David Best which opened to the public to thousands of visitors on February 14, 2019. The final two public art installations: Peace & Love and Big Picture: Resilience formally opened to the public on the second anniversary of the tragedy.

Full funding received from Bloomberg, however, pending postcards and other minor outstanding items.
